EXECUTIVE SUMMARY WOOD

Amazon Gold Teak Farms have cultivated teak trees
from carefully selected seeds of mother trees,
collected 38 years ago. Nestled in the picturesque
paradise of Ecuador, along the riverside of San Pablo
in Quevedo, these farms are home to a diverse array
of species, including teak, fustic, saman (also known
as Shuar wood or raintrees), balsa, bamboo, and
various medicinal trees. The local staff has been
diligently trained to prune and care for these trees
without relying on artificial fertilizers or chemicals. As
a result, this venture operates as a CO2-negative
enterprise, contributing to environmental protection
and oxygen generation.

After three decades of nurturing, the trees and bamboo are now ready for sustainable harvesting. They can be transformed into a variety of products, such as boards, beams, cross-laminated timber (CLT), and composite laminates suitable for outdoor use. These materials can be crafted from massive teak or combined with bamboo, balsa, or other woods. The applications extend beyond traditional furniture to include the yacht and automobile industries, as well as beautiful desks, dining tables, decking for balconies and floors.
In Pifo, Ecuador, a carpenter shop has been established, equipped with German and Swiss machinery. Set beneath palm trees and an ecologically friendly bamboo roof, this workshop is poised to fulfill custom orders. Recently, special knives from Leitz Germany were acquired specifically for cutting Guadua bamboo (Guadua angustifolia). Remarkably strong, Guadua bamboo boasts higher resistance than steel. In fact, we envision that future cities could be constructed using ecologically sustainable bamboo. Its rapid growth effectively converts CO2 into oxygen, making it an ideal solution for combating global warming.
